Institute of Oil and Gas (Branch in the City of Oktyabrsky)

Institute of Oil and Gas (Branch in the City of Oktyabrsky) is an educational institution within the university, which has absorbed the best traditions of the oil and gas education system and the Russian higher school. The branch is proud of its graduates working in all the leading oil and gas companies both in Russia and abroad. The quality of student training and the innovative development of the branch are ensured by the highly qualified staff working at five departments, which have a unique educational and laboratory base at their disposal. The structure of the branch includes a block of scientific, informational, social and domestic purposes. The training is conducted in mural and extra-mural forms in the two most demanded fields of the fuel and energy sector: petroleum engineering and process machinery and equipment.
