Higher School of Computer and Social Sciences

Founded in 2015 as Faculty of General Scientific Disciplines.

The main task of the Higher School of Computer and Social Sciences is the training of first-year students in fundamental natural and humanitarian disciplines, their adaptation to university requirements in the educational process, and their immersion into the future profession through a series of academic courses and introductory practical trainings, the formation of a corporate culture.

The Higher School has been actively introducing a distance learning system. A base of video lectures for the courses taught at the faculty has been created. The undoubted advantage of this method of presenting theoretical material is the ability to listen to the lecture at any convenient time, repeatedly referring to the most difficult points.

In order to improve the quality of education and involve junior students in research work, a network of student scientific societies was created at the Higher School’s departments.
