Pre-university Education Center

Founded in 2004.

Pre-university training, being one of the most important elements of the modern system of continuous education, is a set of measures aimed at achieving the applicants’ readiness for the conscious choice of their future profession and continuing education.

The USPTU Pre-university Education Center is a necessary link between the school and the university, providing educational services to applicants in preparation for USPTU’s entrance examinations.

The main tasks of the Center are:
• courses in mathematics, physics, chemistry, Russian language, computer science and other subjects;
• orientation of students for acutely deficient specialties of the Russian fuel and energy complex
enterprises that are in need of highly qualified engineering personnel;
• remote teaching with introduction of active methods and teaching electronic technology, multimedia products into the educational process;
• vocational guidance and campaigning work among students and working youth.
